I’m James, a graphic designer based in Costa Mesa. I currently plan and publish bilingual campaigns for 14 grocery accounts. Before that, I designed commercial real estate collateral, retail event campaigns, packaging, and brand systems. I start by asking what the piece needs someone to understand or do. Then I make the design earn its place.

I work across print, social media, advertising, packaging, and brand systems. InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are the tools I use most.
How I Work
I find the hierarchy first: what someone needs to notice, what they need to know next, and what should happen after that. Then I refine the type, image, and production details until the piece holds together.
